‘SHOHAI BANGLADESH’(SB) is a non profit, non Government, non political, voluntary social organization providing humanitarian support in the field of health and education for the deserved and distressed communities of the country. It has started its activities formally on 1st of July, 2008 and got its registration from NGO Affairs Bureau, Government of Bangladesh on 1st of March, 2009. It is founded and run by a group of committed Medical professionals along with dedicated social workers and multi-disciplinary experts.

Background

Bangladesh is a developing country of 160 million people. The country has many problems in its Health sector. Some problems are frequently talked and addressed. Some problems are totally unknown to majority of our unaffected population.

Shohai Bangladesh has primarily identified 3(three) such disabling problems:

a) Cleft lip and cleft palate
b) Burn and post burn contractures and deformities
c) Club foot
